At LINCS Healthcare our Allied Health staff have a strong focus on functional rehabilitation and on the client's abilities and capacity to recover.

Commencing treatment of the condition in the client's home helps to set up a realistic program within the constraints of their environments. It helps the patient take ownership of their injury and begin to self manage their condition in their own environment, thereby aiding in the recovery process.

Treating the client in their own home allows the therapist to accurately see the client function in a familiar and constant environment. It also helps the therapist to set realistic functional goals instead of having to specualte from the clinical setting.

Our Allied Health staff focus on what their clients can do, not on what they can't. Knowing what the client can do helps us to develop suitable plans of care and functionality.
